Coarsely ground seed free Turkish chili flakes made from dried spicy red peppers. Fruity spicy with a light smoky note. The most important table condiment in Turkey, sits next to salt and pepper in every restaurant and household. Heat level: medium. The fruity depth makes it far more interesting than standard chili flakes. Less fat in the dish will curb heat as capsaicin (heat element) dissolves in oil.
